Special commissions for addressed social aids to start activity July 1

Special commissions to render addressed social aids established in local centers of the Ministry of Labor and Population's Social Protection (MLPSP) will start their activities July 1.

The commissions will determine the sum of social aids for every family. As APA reports, the commissions will include representatives of Finance Ministry, State Statistical Committee local offices, employment services and municipalities.

The chief of a commission will be the head of MLPSP local center. Any NGO may be interested with commissions' activities. It was also told that NGOs must apply before July 1. After the consideration of applications, NGO representatives will obtain observer's status in the sessions of commissions. But there is not a NGO applying yet.

Addressed social aids will be granted from July, 1. Only low-income families will benefit from aid. There are 120 thousand applications for aid in the Ministry. 19 thousand of them were admitted documents. AZM377 billion has been financed from state budget for grants. AZM16 billion of the amount will be given to low-income families in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Amount of grants differ depending on family’s incomes. About 250 thousand families will benefit from grants.
