News program in Azerbaijani to be broadcast to Georgian Kvemo Kartli region

Azerbaijan state television news program, Moambe, began broadcasting with simultaneous translation on Monday to Kvemo Kartli, a region principally populated with people of Azerbaijani origin.

The project is being implemented with financial support of the OSCE, Trend news agency reports. Azerbaijani translation of the news program is broadcasted by TV 12 television throughout the region. The OSCE sponsored project aims to eradicate the information vacuum in Kvemo Kartli, Prime News reports.
