UEFA punishes Azeri national team

It was done due to football player Vugar Nadirov, who was punished in the match against Irish team in Baku last week, playing in the staff under-21.

Our team lost the match with Irish team in ratio 1:2. UEFA punished our team headed by Nazim Aliyev by declaring technical loose 0:3.

Our Olympic team is in Dublin and will play against Irish team again. We could not contact Bahruz Asgharov, head of department of national teams with regard to the UEFA's decision.

Head of AFFA Information and Public Affaires Department Mikyail Narimanoghlu, who is in Moldova now, refused to answer our questions. Our national team is expected to receive severe punishment after that.
