State Veterinarian service continues monitoring till "Bird flu" ends

State Veterinarian Service under auspicious of the Ministry of Agriculture has started monitoring the bird flu situation, according to a working plan approved at the beginning of April.

As APA reports, these monitoring is held in every region by local VSs. Veterinarian experts get samples from poultry farms, test them, and provide bio-security, disinfection, take necessary measures for organizing security cells in zone veterinary laboratories, their necessary provision with the diagnosis, reactive and other laboratory equipment.

LVS hunts wild birds in the territory every 15 days and tests them. No died birds were observed in the first and previous monitoring processes. The result of the second monitoring will be publicized May 10.

The Veterinarian departments will take blood samples from the poultry farms belonging to the people and will analyze them. No Bird flu suspect fowls have been found. SVS will continue this measures until bird flu situation gets stable.
