Chong Wook Lee: WHO ready to aid Azerbaijan

The World Health Organization (WHO) is ready to render technical assistance to Azerbaijan in frames of the healthcare reforms, the WHO head, Chong Wook Lee stated.

Organization is ready to aid Azerbaijan, in case if official request from the government will arrive, he said.

Lee expressed satisfaction with works conducted in the healthcare reconstruction and reformation.

"I met the leading governmental officials during my visit, and today I have discussed matters of reformation and restructuring with the PM, Arthur Rasizadeh," he said.

Lee also has plans to observe the condition of medicine in the Azerbaijani regions.

WHO head arrived to Baku April 25 and he will depart April 26.
