Lankaran State Drama Theater to go on tour in Baku

Lankaran State Drama Theater will be on tour in Baku on October 29-30 as part of the project "Baku premieres of regional theatres", Azernews reports.

The project is carried out with the support of the Culture Ministry, in order to stimulate the creative life of regional theatres, to present the plays staged by young directors to the residents of the capital.

On October 29, the premiere of the new play "God's bird did not come" will be shown on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater, by the guest team.

Based on the drama of the same name by the writer-playwright Javid Zeynalli, the play "The Bird of God did not come" tells about the tragic fate of Suleyman Afandiyev, who was separated from his original and true essence and sought his spiritual salvation in the past, in his childhood. After the death of the last person in the village where he was born, who knew about all his past sins, Suleyman decides to return to the village. There are many things waiting for him in the village: the house where he was born and where he wants to take refuge at this time of his life, the memory of his relatives, the revenge of the woman who destroyed his life, the bird of God who turned away from him...

But Suleyman's son Mustafa is against his return to the village. Suleyman faces the bitter truths of his life and finally becomes a victim of God's bird, whom he wants to meet. Because he does not know the language of birds. The bird of God can also be considered as the general name of the sense of conscience entrusted to man by God...

The theater's chief director Anar Babaly directed the psychological-drama genre play. The set designer is Tarlan Sadigov, music composer- Aydan Aliyeva.

People's Artist Gabil Guliyev, actors Gizilgul Guliyeva, Saleh Azimzadeh, Guler Karimova, Malayka Jafarova, Elchin Hajiyev, Alizamin Abbasov, Imamali Asgarov and Zeynal Mammadzade will take to the stage together.

On October 30, Lankaran State Drama Theater will show the play "Spy" based on the work of the same name by the People's Writer Kamal Abdulla at the Academic National Drama Theater.

The production director is Anar Babali, production designer-Tarlan Sadigov, composer-Azer Hajialasgarli.

People's Artist Gabil Guliyev, Honored Artist Sujaddin Mirzayev, actors Buludkhan Buludov, Gizilgul Guliyeva, Aynur Ahmadova, Miraslan Aghayev, Allahveren Babayev, Abulfaz Akhundov and Saleh Azimzade will perform in the stage work.

"Spy" is based on a mystery and its unraveling. In the work, the character of Deda Korkut directs the course of events. He tells Kazan Khan who is the spy among the Oghuz tribes. However, it is he who informs Bo?azca Fatma about the issue. Dede Gorgud acts as a bigot of Oguz. Even though he says who the spy is, on the other hand, he approaches the issue from a human standpoint. He warns Bogazca Fatma about the disaster that will happen to her spy son, and shows him the way to escape from death...
