UNO Food and Agriculture Organization specialist visited Azerbaijan

According to APA, from Veterinary Service at the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr.Gholan will stay in Azerbaijan for five months, visit the places bird flu observed, will closely familiarize with the measures with regard to bird flu, and implement observation works in this direction.

FAO representative has already visited series laboratories of Azerbaijan, as well as Veterinary Laboratory of the republic, closely interested with the equipment used in the examination of Bird flu, helped the specialist in the examinations held in the laboratories. Mr. Gholan has pr?cised the equipments to be purchased at the account of FAO.

It should be noted that one more FAO representative is expected to visit Azerbaijan in recent days.
