The Forbes magazine announced the annual rating of Russia's wealthiest businessmen.

Governor of Chukotka, Head of Chelsea football club Roman Abramovich ranks first as it was one year ago. The number of billionaires in Russia reached to 44 from 30 of last year. Total volume of their wealth works out at $248 billion, APA reports.

In general, the wealth of Russian richest businessman increased $107 billion within a year.

Forbes experts calculated Roman Abramovich's wealth at $18.3 billion. The Head of Chelsea increased his property by $3.6 billion.

Azerbaijan-born Vahid Alakbarov – President of Lukoil Corporation ranks second in the rating list. Forbes called Alakabarov as the most professional businessman of the year. Alakbarov managed to increase his wealth twice within a year. However, Forbes experts’ opinions differ concerning the volume of his wealth. In general, according to various versions of Forbes, Vahid Alakbarov's wealth works out at $8.6-11 billion, Alakbarov ranked the 10th in the Russian billionaires' list last year.

Forbes experts think that the reason why Russian businessmen became the wealthiest so speedily is the rise in prices in the securities market. The experts forecast that speedy change of prices in this market can influence the number of Russian billionaires.
