Head of the Committee on the Rights of the Child visits Azerbaijan

As APA reports referring to the State Committee on Family, Women, Child Problems (SCFWCP), the UNO representative has already met with Chair of SCFWCP, Hijran Huseynova and other NGO representatives in this field.

The UNO representative has stated that Azerbaijan government has started implementation of works in this field. But for the concrete principles and programs, situation in this field might be difficult.

The UNO representatives will hold meetings on situation of child problems in Azerbaijan in the Ministries of Education, Health, Labor and Social Protection of Population. They are expected to conduct meetings with MPs. The visit will be completed May 17.
