Ombudsmen Informational Institute to be created in Azerbaijan

Informing society on legal matters, provision of the legal assistance to citizens, creation of informational service modification proposals, appeals, statements and reports revisal will be among the direct duties of the ombudsmen, the Press Council Chairman, Aflatun Amashov told.

The ombudsmen may demand clarifications, documents from the information owners; he will also have the authority to submit the law violation facts to the courts and other relevant bodies, Trend reports.
