ADB to approve assistance to prevent "Bird flu"

Following the approval of assistance the ADB jointly with FAO and WHO will start distribution of aid among the bank member-countries, Trend reports.

ADB also cooperates with a number of other donors - US Agency on International Development (USAID), the World Bank etc. ADB will serve as a leading aid organization at the regional level, whereas WB at the world level. This agreement was reached at the Beijing International Conference on "Bird flu".

Azerbaijan became the first country in Caucasus and Central Asia to receive aid from ADB.
