IDP-connected project implementing

Azerbaijan Representation of World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations will complete in June current year another program connected to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) re-settled in remote territories of the Republic.

In the frame of Project, the Representation said, 130 thousand refugees were rendered assistance. Currently, the Program is said to be prolonged for another two years with extra 18 million dollars, AzerTAg informs.

To note, WFP has played important role in rendering assistance and resettle more than 600 thousands refugees who lost their homelands as a result of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
