Zeynab Khanlarova: "Nowadays title is purchased"

MP, People's Artist Zeyneb Khanlarova said this during her talk with journalists.

"I do not consider show business right nowadays. One should not forget of his nation, customs and traditions. I am in the art for 45 years; I have always kept the traditions of my nation. Visitors from foreign countries coming Baku have mentioned my name - Zeynab Khanlarova, not in vain. I have deserved it."

Mrs.Khanlarova said that all the singers have videoclips but her: "I was famous not by clips. I came onto the stage with ghazals of Fuzuli. Neither my father nor my mother has taught it to me. I have known that Fuzuli is a great poet, and if do not lean it I can not be a good singer. Nowadays singers do not know Fuzuli. I have sung songs in 32 languages, but never thought of learning traditions of those peoples."

Mrs. Khanlarova added that she likes Zulfiyye Khanbabayeva's songs who sings in variety- show.

Mrs. Khanlarova said that she is dissatisfied with rules giving names to artists: "Nowadays the title is purchased. You can not be people’s artist with money."
