H5N1 virus also revealed in Fuzuli & Bilasuvar regions - UPDATED

Bird flu was revealed in the flows of poultry, found in the Boyuk Bahmanly village, Fuzuli region, as well as the Bilasuvar poultry factory, Trend  reports referring to a news release spread by the State Commission on coordination of activities of all bodies in the sphere.

Specialists conduct research on revealing of type of the virus both in local and foreign laboratories (London and Kiev). Experts take appropriate measures in the both sources of the disease.

The same time specialists carry out agitation on prevention of bird flu. Despite repeated warnings the population does not adhere to them and keep poultry in open conditions.

The message says that in case of adherence to hygienic-sanitary measures the product of poultry factories may be used.

The minister informed that so far the "Bird flu" was found only at Gilazi poultry, where necessary measures were taken. A total of 500,000 birds have been exterminated here, Trens informs.

The poultries work in a strengthened regime. Every day specialists of the Veterinary Service carry out monitoring every at the enterprises.

All birds existing in the radius of 3km from the center of disease are exterminated.

The minister assured that in case of revealing of disease at any enterprise, the popoulation will be informed of that.
