Mild earthquake hits Hajigabul

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake, hit Hajigabul district on Thursday, Azernews reports, citing the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The Center noted that the depth of the quake was 23 km and recorded at 09:51

Recall that on July 4, an earthquake with a 5.7 magnitude struck off the shores of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan.

The earthquake epicenter was located 80 kilometers northeast of the Khachmaz region, and the earthquake source was at a depth of 35 kilometers.

The tremors were felt in some parts of the country, including in the city of Baku.

Besides, on July 6, an earthquake with a 3.2 magnitude hit Hajigabul, the depth of the earthquake was 17 km.
