Mayor of Baku city signed decree on restricting traffic of vehicles with more than 5 tons of tonnage

Pursuant to the plan of measures on improvement of the transport system in Baku for 2006-2007 of the president of Azerbaijan, the head of the Baku city Executive Power (BCEP) signed a decree.

According to the decree, except special-purpose vehicles and trucks belonging to rescue services, traffic of vehicles with more than 5 tons of tonnage is restricted from 8:00 to 21:00. The mayor's office of Baku city requests heads of building companies and related establishments to adhere to the restriction on traffic of trucks on central streets of the capital, APA informs.
