First Lady named Turkic world's "Envoy of Love and Friendship"

Mrs. Aliyeva received the latest award in the "Zrivedekiler-2005" survey involving 141,000 people held via the Internet. The Azersun Holding president Abdolbari Goozal was named "Businessman of the Year", the group of companies told AssA-Irada.

The poll was held with the support of Turkey's Channel 7 TV channel and the First Business magazine.

The First Lady was earlier named Person of the Year by the Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and the ANS group of companies for her endeavors to preserve national cultural heritage, to promote Azerbaijan's international standing, to have organized the first world championship in rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan, and to develop the country's educational system.
