One more member of Haji Magomedov’s criminal gang arrested

As the result of the operation conducted by special operation department of the Interior Ministry in-cooperation with Interior Offices of Russia and the police of Dagestan, resident of Masekh village of Zagatala Mehdi Amirshanov was detained in Dagestan province of Russia and handed over to Azerbaijan, ANS informs.

It should be noted that, Mehdi Amirshanov has been searched for 3 years and he was close companion-in-arms of Haji Magomedov, who committed a number of grave crimes in Zagatala-Balaken region in 2000-2002. Mehdi Amirshanov could hide in the territory of Dagestan after the collapse of the criminal gang.

M.Amirshanov was detained as a result of special operation and taken to the police department of Zagatala region. The PD informed that the fact is investigated.
