Special hospital set up in Baku to treat those supposed to be infected with Bird flu

Selling of fowl and feathers has been banned in Agdam region.

As APA informs citing the chief of Veterinary Department of Agdam Sarhad Bakhtiyarov, use of fowl has been banned in restaurants, he also noted that measures plan is prepared in Region Executive Power on the basis of the letter of Ismayil Hasanov - chief of State Veterinary Service of Ministry of Agriculture.

S.Bakhtiyarov said that there is no market in the region and this makes it easy the work somehow: "But it does not mean that there is no danger. We instructed vets in the region to take necessary measures. Bird flu virus has net been found in the region yet".

Deputy Minister of Health Senan Kerimov also told APA that Bird flu pandemic had not been found yet. S.Kerimov saying disinfection is conducted in border passing stations as well as in airports urged people not to get uneasy. In his opinion, it is not correct to think that birds died out of this disease in any region.

Deputy Minister also added that bringing of disinfection solutions, technical and special equipments and 150 pairs of special wears to the country will enable organize the work in high level: "More 150 pairs of special wear will be brought in a few days. Special hospital has already been set up for the treatment to those who are supposed to catch the disease".
