Azerbaijani Diasporas in foreign countries to commemorate the anniversary of the 20 January tragedy

Azerbaijani Diasporas in foreign countries will commemorate the 16th anniversary of the 20 January tragedy by different ceremonies.

As APA reports being informed by the State Committee on Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, the goal is to inform the world community about the tragedy of 20 January and achieving in forming an objective opinion about the recent terror and genocide facts in the history of our people.

Commemoration ceremonies, scientific-practical conferences and other events are expected to be held in different parts of Russia. The events will be organized in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Darband, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Samara and other cities by Whole Russian Azerbaijanis Congress and regional organizations of Federal National Autonomy of Russian Azerbaijanis by the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia.

Azerbaijani communities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Tajikistan will organize different events on the 16th anniversary of the tragedy of 20 January.

The Azerbaijani communities functioning in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Poland and Hungary will also commemorate the anniversary of the tragedy.

Different Diaspora organizations of Azerbaijan in France, Germany Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Canada, the US, Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, Australia and in other countries will hold different events, commemoration ceremonies, scientific-practical conferences too.
