International Women Congress to take place inTurkey

Azeri Omb Elmira Suleymanova will participate in his work.

Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, will participate in an International Congress on "The role of women in the development of civilization", due in Turkey shortly, Trend reports.

The key objective of the congress is to unite the world women’s efforts for the development of society, establishment of stability and harmony on the base of human values, defense of peace and security. The congress will continue its work in the sessions.

Attending the event will be prominent public-political figures, including Margaret Thatcher, Madeleine Albright, Hillary Clinton, Nobel Prize Laureate Shirin Ibadi, a spouse of former King of Jordan, Princess Noor.

Suleymanova will deliver to the session a paper on "Democratization in the period of independence and women organizations."
