Azeri MP calls University rectors to restore expelled students

"I call the rectors of the Pedagogical University, of Baku State University, and the Minister of Education to restore the expelled students Namik Feyziyev and Turan Aliyev," states appeal of the member of the Milli Mejlis, professor of Baku State University Camil Hasanli.

According to Turan, he several times visited the strikers and called them to stop the action. "Despite our requests the students state they will continue strike until they are restored."

Ignoring their demands can be a great shame for Azerbaijan," professor states. If the rectors and the Minister of Education do not solve the problem the interference of political leadership of the country is necessary, he said.
