No Azeri pilgrim dies in crush in Mecca

There is no Azerbaijani among the victims died in a crush while implementing the rituals of Hajj in Mecca.

According to Trend, the Caucasus Muslims Department (CMD) announced in reference to the Azerbaijani pilgrims who are currently in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Department, all pilgrims implementing pilgrimage through the line of CMD, are safe and sound and are going to return back home.

On Friday (13 January) the pilgrims, who chose the land of Hajj will leave Mecca and arrived in Azerbaijan in a few days. The pilgrims, who chose the air way, will leave Mecca on Friday for Medina to pay tribute at the tomb of Prophet Mohammad and other sacred places, and after go to Jidda from where they will fly to Baku by airliners.

The number of Muslims who died in crush, formed in Mina valley in Saudi Arabia during the ceremonial stone-beating the devil, reached 345 people. A representative of the Saudi Interior Ministry announced that several cases dropped from the buses passing by the procession of pilgrims. They partitioned off the eastern shave to the rostrum, where three ritual columns Jamarat, representing the devil, stand. At least 289 people were taken to the hospital with different injuries.
