The first modular hospital has begun to function in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city [liberated from Armenian occupation in the 2020 second Karabakh war] since October 2021, Zaur Aliyev, board chairman of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, said, Trend reports.
Aliyev made the remark at a press conference on the agency’s activities in 2021 and in the first quarter of 2022.
According to him, the hospital in Shusha has an emergency department, a polyclinic, a laboratory, a functional diagnostics, inpatient and intensive care departments.
It’s also planned to open modular hospitals in liberated Aghdam, Kalbajar, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli cities and Hadrut settlement, added the agency’s chairman.
