Azeri journalists will meet to discuss journalism ethics in Azerbaijan

Training seminars for professionals working in the field of journalism will be held by the "RUH" organization starting November 1.

"RUH" Journalists Protection Committee (JPC) will hold training-seminars called "Professional ethics of the journalist" for media representatives. The seminars are sponsored by the US Agency for International Development in the frame of a project funded by the Eurasian Fund.

Journalists will review following topics:

Discussions on "Mechanism of influence of professional ethics"

"Analytical models for moral dilemmas (models of Hinn, Bock, Hochs, Elliot)"

"Principles of holding ethical discussions (Lakztiak synthesis)"

"Box of Potter and its stage"

"Professional duty of the journalist and factors determining its objective basics, categories and subjective features",

"Responsibility, professional honour, and factors forming them"

"Main ethical collisions of modern journalism of Azerbaijan"

The trainings start November 1
