Idleness of Georgian side slows down Elmar Huseynov's murder case investigation

The Prosecutor General Office of Georgia has not responded yet to the appeal of Azeri investigation group solving the murder case of the editor-in-chief of "Monitor" magazine Elmar Huseynov.

The investigation group consisting out of members of the National Security Ministry and Republican Prosecutor Office appealed to Georgian colleagues asking them for farther investigation of the case.

Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov mentioned this about a month ago noting that the group members have studied the materials after returning home from Georgia and more investigation procedures were necessary.

It means that Georgian colleagues were requested to implement additional investigation a months ago and already a month the investigation group is still waiting for the results on the appeal.

Meanwhile the suspects on the murder case - Teymuraz Aliyev and Tahir Khubanov are still in search.
