The court process appointed to be held yesterday on the case of Tahir Asadullayev accused of giving false information about the citizen of Great Britain Alan French to law-enforcement organs did not take place.
APA was informed about it by T.Asadullayev. The process held under the chairmanship of the judge Firuza Aghasiyeva in the Sabayel region court was postponed till October 6 because the witnesses and persons recognized as sufferers on the case did not come to the court.

It should be noted that T.Asadullayev, the former associate of the “Gulfbasker-1” ship belonging to USA and navigating under the flag of Azerbaijan is accused of giving false information about the captain of the ship, citizen of Great Britain Alan French to the right-protection organs.

So, he informed in his appeal made to the right-protection organs on April of this year that A.French insulted the flag of Azerbaijan. Investigation was conducted in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic in connection with the appeal.

It was revealed that A.French left Azerbaijan some days after the incident happened. Investigators arrived at a decision that actually no such incident happened in the ship, and T.Asadullayev gave false information about the citizen of England. It should also be noted that there are enough material proofs on A.French’s insulting our flag. These proofs were also presented to the court.
