The President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA), Anvar Choudri, advised his Azerbaijani counterpart Agajan Abiyev to set up women boxing in the country.
Abiyev told Trend there was no sportsman on the country which could play in the higher international boxing ring. Azerbaijan will not be represented in the September world championship due in St.-Petersburg with a prize fund of $2,500.
The same time Abiyev underlined that opportunities for inclusion of the women boxing to a program of Olympic Games 2012 to be held in London. It might be of demonstration character, as along with gentlemen, ladies also wore gloves in England even in 19th century.
