Soviet passports will be invalid in Azerbaijan from June 30

Date of validity of former USSR passports used as ID cards in the region of the country is June 30, 2005.
The information is given from Passport, Registration Office of Ministry of Internal affairs. In the information it's stated that, after that date those passports will be considered invalid.

Those not having ID cards are asked to apply to registration and identity card services of police organs in the regions they live with appropriate documents till June 30. /APA/
