Colder days forecast for February

Colder-than-average temperatures are expected in February, while the average monthly temperature is expected to be nigh to the climatic norm in Azerbaijan.

February 2016 temperature outlook released by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources expects rainfalls to be nigh to the climatic norm, while snow and heavy rains will hit some regions.

In Baku and Absheron peninsula, temperature is predicted to be +4-6?C which is close to the climatic norm.

The temperature will be 0-5?C at night, 3-8 degrees of frost in some days, + 7-12 in the afternoon, -2+3?C in some days. Monthly precipitation is expected to be nigh (21-24mm norm) to the climatic norm.

The average monthly temperature in Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic is predicted to be -1+2?C which is within the climatic norm.

The temperature will be from 5-10 degrees of frost  at nights, +13-18?C in some days, 20-25 degrees of frost in mountainous areas, 3-8 degrees of frost in the afternoons, while from 0-5?C in some days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 11-29 mm).

In Upper Karabakh: Khankandi, Shusha, Khojali, Khocavand ; Gubadli, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar and Dashkasan, Gadabay regions, temperature is predicted to be from 2 degrees of frost to +10Cwhich is nigh to the climatic norm. The temperature will be 0-5 degrees of frost at nights, +13-18?C in some days, +5-10?C in the afternoons, 2-7 degrees of frost in some days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be nigh to the climatic norm (norm 25-35mm).

In Gazakh-Ganja, Goranboy, Tar-Tar-Agdam-Agjabadi-Fuzuli-Jabrail regions, temperature is predicted to be +2-5?C which is close to the climatic norm. The temperature will be -3+2?C at nights, 8-13 degrees of frost in some days, +7-12?C in the afternoons, while from 3 degrees of frost to+20C in some days. Monthly precipitation is expected to be nigh to the climatic norm (norm 15-36 mm).

In Balakan, Zagatala, Qakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, ?smailly, Agsu, Shamakhy, Siyazan, Shabran, Khizi, Guba, Khachmaz, Gusar regions,temperature is expected to be -2+3?C which is nigh to the climatic norm. The temperature will be 0-5 degrees of frost at nights, 8-13 degrees of frost, +7-12?C in the afternoons, while 0-5 degrees of frost in some days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 24- 55mm).

In Central-Aran : Agdash, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, ?mishli, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Shirvan, Haj?gabul, Salyan, Neftchala regions,temperature is predicted to be +4-6?C which is close to the climatic norm. The temperature will be 0-5?C at nights, 4-9 degrees of frost in some days, +9-14?C in the afternoons, while from 2 degrees of frost to +3?C in several days. Monthly precipitation is expected to be nigh to the climatic norm (norm 21-35mm).

In Masall?-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik, Yardimli regions, temperature is expected to be +2-5?C, which is close to the climatic norm. The temperature will be 0-5?C at nights, 2-7 degrees of frost in some days, 13-18 degrees of frost in mountainous areas,+8-13?C in the afternoons, while from 2 degrees of frost to +3?C in some days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 44-105 mm) and partly more in some areas.
