International scientific-practical conference on "Emergencies and secure life" kicks off in Baku

An international scientific-practical conference on "Emergencies and secure life" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has today kicked off in Baku.

The two-day conference brought together Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Faig Tagizade, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Akif Alizade, directors of the Institutes of ANAS, representatives of the academies of Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service, including High Military School after Heydar Aliyev, Emergency Situations Ministries of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and relevant academies.

Following the official opening ceremony, the conference will continue its work in sessions.
