CNN films documentary on Sheki

CNN in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan produced a documentary about Sheki, one of the oldest cities of Azerbaijan.

The documentary features a large tourism potential of Sheki, which is located on the historic Silk Road, its rich history and cultural monuments, samples of craftsmanship and natural resources.

During the Soviet period Sheki was a center of the silk production in the region. Today, silk production is carried out in accordance with the latest advances in technology. The documentary also reflects the hospitality and special sense of humor of Sheki people.
