Number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan ups

As of Nov.1, the number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan is 1.444.156 million people compared to 1.429.257 as of Oct. 1, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said on Saturday.

According to the report, some 1.426.415 million from a total number of consumers fall to a population group, while 17,741 - other consumers.

Some 650,875 (641,413 of a population group) of the total number of gas consumers fall to Baku, 793,281 people (785,002 of a population group) - the rest regions of the country.

Azerigas Production Association of SOCAR deals with issues of transportation and sale of gas in Azerbaijan.
