Restrictions will be put on traffic movement during Eurovision-2012 in Baku

The names of Baku streets and prospects with limited traffic due to the "Eurovision-2012" song contest, have been announced.

The traffic in the direction of Bailovo settlement, 14 kilometer of Baku-Salyan road will be closed on May 19-28 on the eve and during the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku, head of the Central
Department of the State Road Police Kamran Aliyev told Trend today.

The cars will be able to enter the capital through the ring road.

Movement of vehicles in the direction of Bailovo settlement from "20th section" will be also limited. The traffic from the "20th section" circle will be directed to Badamdar settlement.

Moreover, the movement from Bailovo settlement to Oil Industry Workers prospect will be limited. Cars will be directed from Bailovo settlement to Khanlar street, and thence through the "Highland Park" - to the Parliament prospect.

The traffic will be restricted from the intersection of Prospects Bulbul and Azadliq with the Nizami street in the direction of Oil Industry Workers prospect.

The way from Nizami street to Oil Industry Workers prospect will be limited. This movement will be directed from Niyazi street to the left to the Istiglaliyyet prospect.

The movement will be restricted from the intersection of the Istiglaliyyet street in the direction of Aziz Aliyev street.

The movement from Yusif Safarov street to May 28 street, from the intersection of Yusif Safarov street and Afiyaddin Jalilov street with U.Hajibeyov street will be forbidden.

The traffic from Heydar Aliyev Prospect and Yusif Safarov street will be directed to Tabriz street.

The five points have been created in the capital to transport "Eurovision" song contest participants, Aliyev said. The buses will transport participants from the points created near the Samad Vurgun park, Azadliq Square, next to the Museum Center, Azneft Square, next to the "Dalga Plaza".

Taking into account the impossibility of parking near the venue of the song contest, the Republican Road Police urges citizens, willing to attend the performance of "Eurovision-2012" participants, to arrive by bus or on foot along Seaside Boulevard, rather than private cars.
