Azerbaijan presented at Floriade-2012 exhibition

A Floriade world horticultural expo 2012 opened in Venlo, The Netherlands on Wednesday.
According to the Azerbaijan Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, about 50 countries and international organizations participated in the event. Azerbaijan showcased its potential in 700 sq. m. pavilion.

Queen of the Netherlands Beatrix and her accompanying officials visited the Azerbaijani pavilion.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Adalat Valiyev welcomed the Queen of the Netherlands. The Queen watched a film on Azerbaijan`s history and development prospects.

Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the Netherlands Fuad Isgandarov, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan Mehman Ahmadov and other officials were also present as the Queen saw the Azerbaijani exposition. The exhibition featuring the Azerbaijani National Day slated for September 1 will wrap up on October 7.
