Iran not considers ‘Hormuz Strait closure’

The question on Strait of Hormuz closure is not on Iran's agenda as of yet, country's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said, ISNA reported. Mehmanparast added that Iran's official position on this matter will be disclosed at a later time.

"There must be peace and stability in the region. Every country in the region needs it, and we should progress towards that. If, however, the situation in the region becomes militarized, then everything will change accordingly," the spokesman noted.
