The protocol on amendments and additions to the agreement on the visa system between the Turkish and Georgian governments dated April 4, 1996, which was signed at Sarpi on May 31, 2011, will start on December 10, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a press briefing on Monday.
She said that Georgian citizens having the new electronic bilingual identity cards will be able to cross the Georgian-Turkish border on the document. New identity cards have been issued in Georgia since July 1, this year.
