Difficult children in Georgia to be transferred to boarding schools

The Georgian Parliament registered the amendments to the law on Education. Difficult children will be transferred to boarding schools, Georgian News reported.

"These difficult children will be transferred to the boarding schools because of their behavior (behavior, which poses a risk for the development of minors or other people), the bill said. Difficult children aged from 10 to 18 will be transferred to the boarding school."

A multidisciplinary group will make a decision to transfer a child to boarding school. The group will consist of 9 people - social workers, lawyers, teachers and child psychologists.
