GDP per capita to reach $3,100 in Georgia

26 November 2011 [10:56] - TODAY.AZ
In Georgia, GDP per capita will make up $3,100 this year, Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri told Parliament's debates on Friday.

This indicator of GDP per capita is Georgia's best achievement and Government's merit, he said.
"This is not a high indicator, but everything is relative. In 2003, GDP per capita was $900 so it more than tripled over the past eight years. This is a very good indicator, and Georgia will show higher paces of development over the next 5 years," Gilauri noted.
