Georgian minister says Russia will be forced to lift embargo

Russian market should not be the only for the Georgian companies, since it is very unstable, Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia said on Friday commenting on "Sarajishvili" company's return to the Russian market.

"After Russia joins the WTO, it will be forced to lift the embargo on the Georgian products. But we should understand that the Russian market should not be the only for us because it is unstable," Kobalia said. Company producing alcoholic beverages "Sarajishvili" plans to return to the Russian market by late 2011.
