Azerbaijani teacher arrested in Iran

The Iranian Information Ministry's officers (ETTELAAT) arrested Azerbaijani teacher Leyla Bahruz. She was detained at the house of her father-in-law on Nov.3.

The officers searched the house and the hand-written works of the Azerbaijani teacher were seized. She was transferred to the Tabriz Central Jail and kept there for 15 days. Reasons of her arrest are unknown.  Bahruz’s husband Bahruz Faridi was also arrested on Nov. 3.
