New quake hits eastern Turkey

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale took place this morning in the eastern Turkish province of Mus, Anadolu Agency reported.

No damage and injuries are reported.

An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted Van province on Oct.23 killing more than 600 people.

An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale with epicenter in Edremit occurred in the province of Van on Nov.9. The earthquake destroyed 25 buildings, including two hotels.

Some 40 people are victims of the earthquake.
