Iran's enemies, especially the U.S. and its allies, should be aware that Iranian people have no intention to attack any country. However, Iran will respond fiercely to any attack and threat, IRINN quoted Iranian Supreme Leader and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ayatolla Ali Seyed Khamenei as saying in Imam Ali military college on Thursday.
"Whoever decides to attack Iran should remember that the Iranian military forces including IRGC and Basij militia as well as Iranian people are ready to respond strongly," Khamenei said.
Last week, some Israeli media published reports saying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that a military strike on Iran was an option.
The Israeli media reports were in a prelude to the report issued by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano on Tuesday provided indications that Iran has been developing nuclear arms, detailing a large number of nuclear-related projects and experiments, some of which might be ongoing.
