Armenian top officials’ resignation continue

News of the next resignation was spread by the Armenian newspaper on Friday. According to them head of the Criminal Correctional Department Hayk Harutyunyan resigned from his post.

But the news is not yet formally confirmed, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes. According to the newspaper, governors of Gegharkunik and Vayochdzor regions Never Pogosyan and Sergei Bagratyan will also resign soon. Both are the members of “Prosperous Armenia” party. Haykakan Zhamanak reports that Armenia’s former police chief Alik Sargsyan, who resigned three days ago, will be appointed the post of Gegharkunik governor.

Tert.am reports that head of the presidential control service Hovanes Ovsepyan and the ministers from “Prosperous Armenia” will also resign.
