Iran to declare new military achievements

Iranian defence industry will manufacture a new generation of fighter jets with the participation of Iranian Army, IRNA reported quoting Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi.

Iran has already manufactured two types of fighters, Azarakhsh and Saegheh. Vahidi did not explain the details of the mentioned fighter. "We planned to deliver a submarine to Marine Force in last month as well," he said.

According to Vahidi, this progressive submarine is equipped with developed weapons and has good maneuver abilities in deep waters. "We will unveil the new Zafar cruise missile, soon, while Iran has various programs to develop ballistic rackets," he added.

Iran has launched industry production of Ghader cruise class missiles and delivered Ghader missiles with the range of 200 km to Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy forces on Sept. 28.

Cruise missiles can attack navies, military boats and other sea-based targets with high speed and accuracy.
