Iran Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a telephone conversation Sunday with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu condoled Turkish government and people on the occasion of the outbreak of a strong earthquake in eastern Turkey, IRNA reported.
Salehi voiced Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness for dispatch of humanitarian aid to quake-hit areas of Turkey.
First vice president Mohammad Reza Rahimi is also going to extend his condolences on the sad occasion in a telephone conversation with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
