11 October 2011 [15:46] - TODAY.AZ
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on ideas sounded by French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Armenia. APA reports that Erdogan delivered a speech at the meeting of parliamentary group of Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Touching on the statements of French President in Armenia, Turkish PM strongly criticized Sarkozy: “Thinking of the forthcoming elections he gives recommendations to Turkey. At first give the recommendations to yourself, look at yourself. You speak differently in France, differently in Armenia, differently in Turkey. Such leadership is impossible. The policy demands correctness. Think of it at first”.

Erdogan said that Turkey was not a piece which can be easily swallowed: “The state officialdom is a feature which demands not to think of future elections, but future generations, not to polarize the people, but unite them”.

Sarkozy said that France will take corresponding measures in case of Turkey doesn’t recognize the so-called “Armenian genocide”.
