Iranian specialists have produced a nanomedicine to treat cancer and AIDS, with the medicine already being used in several hospitals in the country, MEHR news agency quotes the Iranian Nanotechnology Organization head, doctor Said Sarkar as saying.
He said the nanomedicine called "Doxorubicin" will be put on sale in drug stores within three months. "This medicine is used to treat breast cancer and ovarian cancer, as well as such diseases as AIDS," Sarkar said.
