French President arrives in Yerevan

French President Nicolas Sarkozy's plane landed at the Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, "News Armenia" Agency reports.

At the airport Sarkozy was welcomed by the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan, the Armenian government members, as well as MPs.

During his visit to the region Sarkozy will also visit Azerbaijan and Georgia.
