Turkish gendarmery forces confiscated four tons of hashish in an operation in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Friday, AA reported.
Diyarbakir Governor's Office released a statement in which it said gendarmery staged a synchronous operation on illicit drug dealers in Lice town, and seized four tons of hashish.
Gendarmery also impounded 3,000 roots of Indian hemp, and detained eight people.
